Nauka czytania · the app and the PSoftware website
Privacy policy
Learning stays on your device. Here is how data relates to the app, visiting this website and contacting us.
Last updated:
1. Who is responsible for data?
Patryk Suchowierski PSoftware publishes “Nauka czytania” and is the controller of data relating to this website and correspondence. Full contact details are below. This policy covers the app and the PSoftware website.
2. Learning on your device
The app requires no account and contains no advertising or analytics tools. Exercise history is stored locally and is not sent to us. Learning materials and audio are bundled with the app. We do not collect a child’s name, email address, location, microphone recordings or advertising identifiers. We do not profile children or sell data.
3. Store purchases
If a version offers paid features, Apple or Google processes the payment under its own privacy rules. We do not receive your card details. The store may provide the app with information needed to confirm access, such as the product identifier and purchase status. We process transaction information only as necessary to perform a contract, handle complaints or meet legal obligations (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (c)). Store policies: Apple and Google.
4. Visiting this website
This website uses no analytics, advertising, forms or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own website. Our host, Cloudflare, processes connection information such as IP addresses, request times and browser details to deliver and secure the website. This is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We keep no separate visitor database. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
5. When you email us
We process your email address and message to reply (GDPR Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in handling correspondence), or under Article 6(1)(b) or (c) for contract matters or complaints. Providing information is voluntary, but we need a return address to reply. Google provides our email service. Please do not send a child’s personal information or payment details.
6. Retention, recipients and security
Learning history stays on your device until you delete the app’s data; a copy may be included in a device backup managed by you, Apple or Google. We delete ordinary correspondence within 12 months of closing the matter, unless needed for claims or a legal obligation, in which case we keep it until the relevant period expires. Technical hosting data is retained according to the service and Cloudflare’s policies for as long as needed to deliver and protect the website. Recipients may include hosting and email providers and legally authorised authorities. We use HTTPS, restrict access to correspondence and do not make it public.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. They use applicable safeguards, depending on the service and recipient, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Details of safeguards are available in their privacy policies; you may also contact us for further information.
8. Your rights and deleting data
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the email below. You may complain to Poland’s data protection authority (UODO) or your local supervisory authority. To remove learning history, clear app data on Android or delete the app on iOS rather than offloading it. Restoring a backup may restore the history. We have no user accounts or remote copy of learning history to delete on your behalf.
9. Policy changes
If the app’s operation or the data it uses changes, we will update this policy before the change takes effect. The current version and date are shown on this page.
